Our hot water has recently only been staying hot for a few minutes before going cold. I also regularly have to turn the tap on and off several times or put the heating on to get the hot water to start up at all.Could this be due to low pressure? The pressure is around 0.9 and i have tried to repressurise it but nothing happens when i turn the stop tap on the filling loop. Simon has been servicing our boiler for 5 years extremely well. It used to give faulty readings; he came and suggested replacement cards. It failed again so he went to the dealer and got us new electronic boards. Also at one time we could smell gas, we called Simon and he was with us within the hour. He located a bad joint in the pipework (which was installed by someone else) and replaced the entire section and did an excellent job We understand that a boiler breakdown means no heating and hot water in your home, and this is much more than just an inconvenience, this is an emergency.
