It also seems to work normally after being off over night but then packs up during the day when no one is home. When they do return after school/work the boiler is warm but not working. A while ago when the weather was very cold the domestic hot water would not get hot only warm. I put this down to the incoming water being very cold and not being able to be heated up in time. I suspected a possible heat exchanger blockage. This problem seemed to go away when the weather moved up from the minus temps we were having. What do you think ?
