It has chuntered away in the utility room giving us instant heat and water with relatively little trouble in all that time. It is sensitive to drops in pressure in the system (ours is a sealed system) so when we use the boiler relatively little ie on holiday or during summer it can cut out. We have to top up the water using a spiggot attached to the pipework outside the boiler, remove the front to check the pressure gauge which is a bit of a fag and press the reset buttons but we feel its been a small price to pay for something which has otherwise been really reliable. It is a legal requirement for anyone carrying out gas work to be registered with the Gas Safe Register.
