Upon arrival the lady said the boiler makes a banging noise when on. she said she has had engineer out 4 times under cover of her house but its never been sorted from first day of moving in. I found when domestic hot water is on it runs for bout 10 secs before banging starts, the burner then goes off and then reignites with in a few secs. this happens continusly. no fault codes. When in C/H mode it runs few secs, then banging and fault code H9 then L9 comes up. the rads are all bleed, ive got air out of pump, pump seems to be running fine, resistance check on dry fire resistor shows at 900 ohms which seems ok. banging seems to be coming from main heat exchanger, this made me think it may be sludged up, but took sample of water out of rads and looks really clear. This makes me think maybe its still got air in main heat exchanger.
